Abstract
This paper explores the relationship between Orthodox Theology and artificial intelligence, focusing on the theological and ethical dimensions of this connection. It examines the concept of human freedom and creativity, which are fundamental elements of Orthodox faith, and how these relate to technological advancements. The paper discusses the views of the Church Fathers on human freedom and moral responsibility, proposing a theological and ethical framework for the use of artificial intelligence. Specifically, it highlights the importance of love, justice, and solidarity as core values for the development and application of technology, according to the Orthodox tradition. The paper concludes with suggestions for future research, emphasizing the need for ethical guidance and collaboration between science and faith. It also calls for the development of Orthodox-based ethical guidelines for artificial intelligence, offering a unique contribution to contemporary discussions on technology and its impact on society.
